Welcome to Australian Myanmar Friendship Association Queensland’s Website!

AMFAQ based in Brisbane, Queensland was established in 1995. AMFAQ is not-for-profit organisation providing settlement assistences to newly arrived migrants working in conjunction with Government agencies and community welfare organisations.

Our main objectives are: to promote friendship amongst the Myanmar communities and others in Australia, to promote community awareness and support, to promote Myanmar culture and heritage, to provide the association’s senior with adequate facilities, to operate the association on a non political/religious aspect.

Free Burmese Language Classes

AMFA QLD has been offering free Burmese language classes at Logan City Library located at Logan Central, QLD. Anyone interested is welcomed to join the class. Location Logan City Library, 26 Wilbur Street, Logan Central, Qld, 4114 Time: Every Saturday (1) Primary Class (Junior) – 1PM-2:30PM (2) Primary Class (Senior) – 2:30-4:00PM
